THE FIRST CONSULTATION

During the first consultation your goals will be discussed including the possibilities, impossibilities, limitations and risks. When multiple procedures are performed in one operation the operating time will increase including the risks. It is of great importance that your general health is acceptable and there is no obesity. All aspects of the various corrections will be discussed.

THE PROCEDURE

A mommy make-over is a long procedure and is performed under a general anesthetic. The most common combination of corrections is a correction of the breasts (augmentation/reduction/lift), an abdominoplasty with possibly liposuction. These procedures often take 3 hours or longer. AFTER THE PROCEDURE

Often an overnight stay is necessary, especially when an abdominoplasty with plication of the recti muscles has been performed. Because a mommy make-over is a big and long procedure there may be more postoperative discomfort. Also due to the long anesthetic you may feel the effects thereof for longer. Thrombosis prophylaxis will be given until you are sufficiently mobilized and ready for discharge home. RESULTS

Because multiple corrections have been performed in one procedure a great change in your figure with result. All corrections will be performed with the same skill and care as it would be if they were the only procedure performed. RISKS AND COMPLICATIONS

All procedures carry risks of complications. In big procedures that take longer the chances of complications are greater than in small procedures of short duration.
